Classes & Trainings
These are the weekly meetings or training sessions held at LITE. You are welcome to drop by and join any of these sessions, or contact us via phone or email for further details.
We invite you to join us! Receive support, encouragement, and accountability from fellow individuals in recovery.
This group is led by two adults, where one holds a community health worker certification and both have personal experiences with substance use disorder and mental health. The sessions begin with an icebreaker to foster better connections, followed by a Recovery Circle. Participants share positive experiences from the week, challenges they faced, and set goals for the upcoming week. The focus is on listening, sharing, and providing a safe space. Additionally, we do creative writing exercises, and have discussions on essential life skills. Complimentary snacks and drinks are included each week. There are no fees or prerequisites; individuals within the specified age range are welcome to join. At LITE we believe everyone is in recovery from something, and I believe that to be the same with youth, as well as adults.
Parents are crucial as children's first teachers, but balancing teaching with providing can be challenging. Tips and tricks are available to help parents, grandparents, and caregivers enrich children's lives and support their development. Join us every 2nd Tuesday of every month, starting April 9th, at 6:30pm.
Are you seeking guidance on enrolling in health insurance or switching your carrier on a HIP plan? Let Brightpoint help you with that. They will be at LITE every 2nd Tuesday of the month from 2:30pm-4:30pm.
Join a supportive community in a welcoming and non-judgmental environment. All pathways of recovery are welcome!
