Join us every Monday evening for two new NAMI support groups designed to bring connection, understanding, and hope.

Our Executive Director, Tammy Cotton, is now facilitating the NAMI Family Connections Support Group, and we’re thrilled to welcome these two new offerings to our community:

🤝 NAMI Peer Connections Support Group

A safe, supportive space for individuals living with mental illness. Led by trained facilitators who have walked a similar path and truly understand the journey.

💙 NAMI Family Connections Support Group

For family members who are caring for someone with a mental illness. Facilitated by individuals with lived experience, offering compassion, insight, and encouragement.

About the Group:
This bi-weekly support group is designed specifically for peer recovery coaches looking to connect, grow, and support one another. Whether you're new to the field or a seasoned professional, this is a welcoming space to share experiences, celebrate wins, discuss challenges, and build skills in delivering compassionate, effective care.

Together, we aim to strengthen our network, enhance our impact, and foster a sense of community through shared learning and encouragement. Your voice matters, and we’d love to have you join us!

Join us on Wednesday's, starting on July 9th, at 10am at Trinity United Methodist Church on Center St. in Warsaw for our first CRAFT meeting. The group will meet every Wednesday for the next 12 weeks. This first session will introduce Community Reinforcement & Family Training. If you have a loved one or family member dealing with substance use disorder or mental health issues, we encourage you to attend. It promises to be educational and supportive, and best of all, it's FREE!

When: Every Wednesday at 10am for the next 12 weeks, starting Wednesday, July 9th.

Location: Trinity United Methodist Church, 832 E Center St., Warsaw, Indiana

This group is led by two adults, where one holds a community health worker certification and both have personal experiences with substance use disorder and mental health. The sessions begin with an icebreaker to foster better connections, followed by a Recovery Circle. Participants share positive experiences from the week, challenges they faced, and set goals for the upcoming week. The focus is on listening, sharing, and providing a safe space. Additionally, we do creative writing exercises, and have discussions on essential life skills. Complimentary snacks and drinks are included each week. There are no fees or prerequisites; individuals within the specified age range are welcome to join. At LITE we believe everyone is in recovery from something, and I believe that to be the same with youth, as well as adults.

LITE’s Grief Group continues to meet, and we warmly invite you to join us on Thursday evenings at 6:30 PM. Our new facilitator, Chelsi Clevenger, will lead the sessions. We are partnering with Dustin's Place in Plymouth to introduce an engaging new format for our Grief Group. Everyone is welcome to join us! 

We have a NA Meeting at LITE on Thursdays at 11:30am called, "The LITE Within Us". It's a welcoming space for anyone seeking support and connection on their journey to recovery. Whether you're new to the program or have been attending meetings for years, "The LITE Within Us" offers a safe and supportive environment to nurture personal growth and healing.

LITE will be at the doing Community Outreach, every 2nd and 4th Friday of the month, from 3pm-5pm at the Warsaw Library.
