What is our "BNB"?

Did you know LITE has a Basic Needs Bank, or BNB, at the Milford Methodist Meeting House? Hope Beezley created it and Tammy Cotton now runs it for those we serve. It's a free service for people coming out of KCJ and residential recovery programs. Our church family helped us put together toiletry kits and we've collected extra items men or women will need aside from the basics. These come in our LITE Gear Bags (pictured below) and we have the ability to provide clothes and coats as well.
We accept donations of new and gently used clothing and we also work with the Compass Thrift Store to accept some of the items they don't use. Send us an email at info@lteinkcj.org or call us at 574-306-0006 if you have clothing you'd like to donate. We can arrange to meet you at the Meeting House to drop it off.
Here is a list of items we most often are asked for:
Jeans, Khakis, socks, underwear, shoes suitable for work, sweatshirts, flannel shirts, jackets, and coats. This time of year we also need stocking caps and gloves or mittens.
