We get asked this question a lot. We aren't opening a food service business or trying to compete against our friends at Harvest Coffee. We're "holding space for" and creating community for folks in recovery. And when you think about it, we're all recovering from something. So, the Recovery Café is also for you!
It's open Tuesdays (4:00 pm to 8:00 pm), Fridays (11:00 am to 3:00 PM), and Saturdays (9:00 am to 12:00 pm/Noon) inside the Milford Methodist Meeting House at 210 W. Catherine St., Milford, IN 46542. You'll get a meal, be able to connect to services, participate in a small group, and take classes. Or you can just hang out, use the WiFi, play a game, and get a great cup of coffee. All for no charge!
The model was born out in Seattle and made use of coffee shops after they'd closed for the day. Hence the name, Recovery Café. We're excited to bring this model to Kosciusko County and hope you'll take the opportunity to drop by.
